The Happy Wives Club

Several months ago I had the privilege of being invited to write for the the Happy Wives Club website http://www.happywivesclub.com/.  In case you haven't heard, HWC is a perky, upbeat website about marriage divided into four categories: food, health and fitness, travel, and date nights.

I applaud founder Fawn Weaver, as she simply refuses to jump on the husband- bashing band wagon. (Others are applauding her, too, as she was recently written up in the Chicago Tribune).   Fawn looks for the positive in marriage and finds it.  Consequently, her blog posts on the home page are well worth the read.

My new favorite recipe is featured there today:  Chicken and Spinach Pesto Lasagna. If you come over for dinner at my house anytime soon, this is what you'll get. I found it on the back of the cheese package, tweaked it a bit, and came up with my own version.  I do confess it is at tad time consuming, so I usually reserve it for company or birthday dinners.

Here's the link:

I as well as my friends have already been digesting the good techniques found on your web page while suddenly got a terrible feeling I had not expressed respect to you for them. Most of the people are already absolutely warmed to read all of them and now have in fact been enjoying these things. Appreciate your simply being quite accommodating as well as for deciding upon this form of terrific ideas millions of individuals are really desirous to discover. Our honest apologies for not expressing gratitude to sooner.
