Talks for Women's Groups

Filling the Fruit Bowl in Your Soul
Love, joy, peace, patience are just a few of the nine fruit of the Spirit listed in the book of Galatians. In this talk, Margie emphasizes that healthy relationships are impossible without regularly replenishing the fruit bowl in our souls.

Keep Calm and Study Psalms
A talk largely based on Psalm 119 on keeping fear and anxiety under (God's) control.

In Spirit and In Truth
Discover how to worship God in spirit and in truth. Based on Jesus' encounter with the woman at the well.

A Proverbs 31 Woman
Much emphasis is given to the last half of Proverbs 31, but some deep truths are also hidden in the advice that King Lemuel's mother gave him in the first part of this chapter.

Walk Worthy
A talk based on the first chapter of Colossians, this talk challenges women to ask themselves, "How can I walk more worthy with the Lord?"

Devoted to Christ
A look at three women of the Bible: Abigail, Hannah and Mary, the mother of Christ, to see how they lived lives of devotion.
Aiming Your Arrows
What do you do with arrows but aim them at a target?  Based on Psalm 127, Margie helps equip parents in aiming and launching their kids.
It is Not Good
In this marriage talk based on the first chapter of Genesis, Margie talks to women about how the smallest adjustment in their approach to marriage can have a big impact.
Time Management
Margie talks about relationship based time management and tells how she focuses on five relationships:  Marriage, Children, Friends, Self and God. She touches on housekeeping, too!
You're More Like Mary Than You Think
Based on the angel's visit to Mary in the book of Luke, Margie talks about what we have in common with the mother of the Lord. Great fit for Christmas events.
Thriving Through the Seasons of Motherhood
With ten kids spanning almost twenty-five years, Margie has experienced  every season of parenting--often at the same time!  In this talk, she explores the ups and downs of each season, and encourages moms to find the fun in every stage along the way.
Seasons of a Woman's Life
"To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under Heaven," says Ecclesiastes.  Margie takes a look at the different seasons of a woman's life and talks about how to embrace each one.  Great fit for multi-age groups.
Based on the friendship of David and Jonathan, Margie talks about what it means to be a friend through seasons of sorrow and joy.

The Ministry of Writing
Do you have a lot of adults in your group who like to write but don't exactly know what to do about it?  I would love to come and tell you how to get your ideas out of your head and into a magazine.  This workshop can be between one and four sessions.

Don't see the topic you had in mind?  I love to develop new talks.  Call me and let's talk about what your group needs.

Speaking Fee:  I earned between $200 and $500 speaking from Rome (NY) to Naples (Italy).  I have also been given cookie mix in a jar (love that stuff), gift certificates, homemade soaps or a simple, heartfelt thanks. Pray and talk about it with your ministry team leaders.  I will come. (No charge for local MOPS)
